Deployment of LTE Band 5 is limited due to the usage of spectrum by existing 2G GSM and 3G UMTS networks, consequently the band is employed in fewer than 4% of all commercial LTE networks globally.
Despite its limited adoption, greater than 31% of LTE compatible devices support B5 (850 MHz).
